Preceptorship Program
We offer clinical training opportunities for students pursuing careers in mental health. Gain real-world experience under the guidance of experienced professionals.
Student Preceptorship Rate
$8 per clinical hour
Available for LCSW, LPC, and PMHNP students
Clinical Supervision (NC)
$40 per individual session
Provided by LCSW and LCAS supervisors in North Carolina
Available Preceptors
- LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker)
- LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor)
- PMHNP (Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner)

Required Deposit: $250
Most programs require a $250 non-refundable deposit to secure your placement.
Refund Policy: The deposit is refundable only if your school denies your placement due to something on behalf of Bright Shadows Telepsych. Otherwise, the deposit is applied to your balance owed.
Why we require a deposit: Processing student applications requires significant time for paperwork, licensure verification, and forms. We have experienced many students who request this work, receive school approval, and then choose a different site without notifying us.
