Preceptorship Interest Form
Bright Shadows Telepsychiatry Services is proud to offer PMHNP Preceptorship opportunities for students seeking high-quality, hands-on clinical experience in mental health and telepsychiatry.
Our preceptorships are designed to help students gain exposure to real-world psychiatric practice, including patient assessment, treatment planning, medication management, and therapeutic communication, under the supervision of licensed psychiatric providers.
💰 Preceptorship Fees
- Flat Fee: $1,000 per course 
- Application Fee: $250 (non-refundable) - Refundable only if your school declines your placement due to an error on our part. 
 
- Remaining Balance: $750 due 30 days before the start of classes 
Invoices are issued securely via Square, and receipts are provided upon payment.
🌍 Available Locations
Virtual Preceptorships:
 Available for students located in South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, or any compact state.
In-Person Preceptorships:
- Elizabeth City, NC: 524 South Road Street, Elizabeth City, NC 27909 
- Hampton, VA: 4410 East Claiborne Square, Suite 334, Hampton, VA 23666 (part-time availability)

- Psychiatric evaluations and medication management 
- Case reviews and interdisciplinary collaboration 
- Telehealth and in-person care delivery 
- EHR navigation and clinical documentation 
- Community and school-based mental health models
